LIVERMORE FALLS – A woman and a teenager were arrested Saturday and charged with assault. A verbal altercation escalated into a physical one at the Gagnon Street residence where the arrests occurred, police said.

Theresa Leighton, 32, of Livermore Falls and a 15-year-old male were each charged with domestic assault, Livermore Falls Police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said.

Leighton also complained to police that a theft occurred at the home, he said.

Other complaints reported to police include:

• A child mooned by a man Monday while at the Recreation Field.

• Prescription medicine, a muscle relaxant, stolen Saturday from Gagnon Street.

• A person reported Saturday that two tires on their vehicle were flattened when it was parked at Livermore Falls High School.

• Neighborhood Watch signs pulled down at Church and Searles streets.
