PORTLAND – Alphonse J. “Bub” Pomerleau Jr., 64, a resident of North Anson, died Tuesday, June 1, at Maine Medical Center following a short illness.

He was born on Dec. 7, 1939 in Livermore, the son of Alphonse J., Sr. and Dorena M. McGraw Pomerleau. He attended the grammar schools of Livermore and Livermore Falls High School. On Nov. 5, 1981, he married Mirna May Grover in North Livermore. Bub worked for Berry Hill Agway in Livermore, Chisholm Fruit Company in Jay and Northeast Wood Turning Company in West Farmington, retiring due to ill health.

He is survived by son, Francis Pomerleau and wife, Angela of Livermore; sister, Annette V. Emry of Davenport, Fla.; granddaughter, Britney Pomerleau and step-grandchildren, Charles and Christina Damren.
