Two area golfers shot a hole-in-one in recent play.

Scott Weeks collected his ace May 29 at Poland Spring Golf Club. He aced the #6 hole, 132-yards, using a 7-iron. Playing partners were Barry Keck, Dave McGowen and Keith Ashton.

Holly Couture, a member of The Meadows Golf Club at Litchfield, registered a hole-in-one Memorial Day on her home course. She used a 6-iron to ace the #11 hole, 127-yards. Witnessing the feat were Gene Couture and Carl Brewster.
