LEEDS – Theodore Barker won the job of selectman in a four-way race Friday.

Barker came out ahead with 72 votes. Howard Cooke Jr. received 36 votes, Laurie Marston got 29 votes and Vernon Smith garnered 39 votes.

For the lone seat on the SAD 52 board, Catherine Carey won with 138 votes to Coreene Baumann’s 38 votes. There was one write-in vote for Bruce Bell.

Robert Addison Jr. ran unopposed for road commissioner and won with 147 votes. There were four write-in candidates: Gerry Burgess got one vote, Nat Bell received three votes, Aaron Buckley got one and Jim McNaughton got one.

Fire Chief Glenn Holt also ran unopposed and got 159 votes. Write-ins included Nat Bell with one and Jim Miller with one.

Of the more than 1,400 registered voters in Leeds, 178 cast ballots.
