LEWISTON – The MOMS Club of Lewiston/Auburn will host two open houses from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday, June 10, with a rain date of June 11.

Lewiston MOMS and surrounding communities will meet at Marcotte Park. Auburn MOMS and surrounding communities will meet at Pettingill Park next to the armory.

This year there will be two open houses due to the success of the MOMS Club in the Lewiston/Auburn area. As of July 1, there will be two sister chapters in Lewiston and Auburn.

The MOMS Club is an international support group for mothers who stay home with their children, including those who have home-based businesses or who work part-time but are home with their children during the day. Summer only memberships are available.

Annual dues are $15 a year, which covers the cost of publication and distribution of the monthly calendar and newsletter as well as craft supplies for monthly meetings.

The group offers a range of activities, including special programs for mothers and get-togethers for the family. Activities this summer will include park days and beach days, a trip to the Maine Wildlife Park, monthly Moms Night Out and a family picnic at Range Pond in Poland.
