MOUNT VERNON – A Readfield man died early Thursday after his vehicle left North Road and rolled over several times.
Casey Hall, 26, was thrown from his Jeep Cherokee and was pronounced dead at the scene, Kennebec County Sheriff Everett Flannery said.
Neighbors on North Road called police about 1:44 a.m. to report that a vehicle had left the road, the sheriff said.
The cause of the accident is under investigation, Flannery said. The lead investigator on the case is Deputy Peter Tibbetts, and the accident is being reconstructed by Deputy Scott Taylor.
Mount Vernon Fire and Rescue and Winthrop Ambulance Service responded to the scene.
