WATERVILLE – Raymond Oliver Nadeau, 57, of Morgan St., died Wednesday, June 9, at Inland Hospital after an extended illness.

He was born in Lewiston, July 29, 1946, the son of Antonio and Irene Fournier Nadeau.

He was a graduate of St. Dominic High School in Lewiston, and was a member of the United States Army Reserves. He had worked in the warehouse at Kimberly-Clark Paper Company for several years.

He coached youth hockey and enjoyed all sports, especially the Red Sox and Patriots. He loved his grandchildren and was a loving father, husband and brother.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline Roy Nadeau of Waterville; two sons, John Nadeau of Clinton, and Andrew Nadeau of Waterville; a daughter, Cathy Matthews and her husband Chuck of Oakland; two sisters, Georgette Doustou and her husband Louis of Lewiston, and Pauline Loubier and her husband Claude of Augusta; four grandchildren, Nicholas Conner, Nathan and Colby Nadeau, and Samantha Matthews; many nieces and nephews.
