LINCOLN, R.I. – Troy Clark, a graduating senior at Lisbon high School, turned in a shining performance at the USATF National 15-kilometer Racewalk Championship Sunday.

Although he finished in fifth place behind four U.S. National Team members, including a four-time Olympian and an Olympic qualifier, Clark blazed a remarkable trail for a high school walker in his first open 15k competition under sunny and hot conditions that hobbled most of the field of 28 competitors.
