AUBURN – The Auburn-Lewiston YMCA recently completed its first season of the new basketball program “Hoopsters”.

The sessions were held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. There were 15 co-ed kindergarten and first-graders in the Tuesday session, and another 8 in the Thursday segment.

The program is advanced basketball instructional designed to prepare this age group for organized team play while continuing to improve and advance the individual skills of dribbling, shooting, passing and defense.
