AUGUSTA – William J. “Bill” West III, 31, of Waldo Street, died unexpectedly June 13, at his residence.

He was born in Groton, Conn., on Aug. 25, 1972, the son of William J. West Jr. and Sandra (Wetmore) West.

“Bill” was self-employed repairing guitars and jobs which related to music. He was a Son of the American Legion.

Surviving is his mother, Sandra Tessicini and her husband Mickey of Portsmouth, N.H.; his father, William J. West Jr. of Bremerton, Wash.; three sisters, Sharon Milhourn and Marion Gherson, both of Kittery, and Anne Marie O’Donnal of Billerica, Mass.; one aunt; two uncles; three nieces; two nephews; and several cousins.
