LEWISTON – Raymond A. St. Laurent, 60, of Lewiston, died unexpectedly on Saturday, June 19.

Born in Lewiston on Nov. 27, 1943, he was the son of Albert and Germaine Verville St. Laurent. Educated locally, he was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Air Force. After the war he was employed as a driver for UPS for several years, and then started a second career as a real estate investor.

He loved to bird watch, fishing at Desolation Pond, horseback riding, hunting and spending time with his family and friends especially his granddaughter, Brook St. Laurent.

Survivors include his ex wife, Phyllis St. Laurent of Lewiston; two sons, David and wife, Susan St. Laurent of Oxford and Scott St. Laurent of Lewiston; brother, Norman and wife, Cathy St. Laurent of Lawrence, Kan.; sister, Lorraine and husband, Paul Pepin of Lewiston; a companion of fourteen years, Lorraine Fortin of Canada and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Germaine St. Laurent.
