AUBURN – L/A Trails is looking for volunteers to help with trail work at Mount Apatite from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 26.

Helpers will be treated to two free meals, a picnic-style breakfast and a picnic lunch prepared by Cookin’ Carol of Mount Apatite Farm.

Volunteers can sign up by calling Mike Lecompte at 777-3724 by 5 p.m. Friday. If he is not available to take the call, please leave a message with the names and number of people who will be participating.

Directions: From Court Street in Auburn, go about 3 miles up Minot Avenue; take a right on Hatch Road and a second right onto Small Road; go to the end of Small Road to the trail heads. This National Trails Day Event is free and open to the community.
