FARMINGTON – Police are investigating graffiti spray-painted on downtown businesses and on at least one traffic sign on Route 4 over the weekend.

Vandals struck MBNA and the Farmers’ Union on Front Street, as well as a business on Pleasant Street, Farmington police Detective Marc Bowering said.

The incidents were reported Saturday.
