PARIS – The third annual Art Moves into the Schools Summer Dance Festival will kick off Friday, July 9, with a concert of music and dance by female African drumming group, Inanna, also known as “Sisters in Rhythm,” and the professional Art Moves Dance Company, located in Norway.

The 7:30 p.m. performance will be held at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School auditorium, Route 26, South Paris. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. For more information go to artmovesdance.com or call 743-5569.

Saturday morning, July 10, will offer master classes with Maine professionals in jazz-funk, swing, physical eloquence, tap, Middle Eastern and hip-hop. Donations will be accepted.

That afternoon will bring a showcase of students and pros on a dance stage on the Norway Town Office lawn. Bring a blanket or chair and watch the moves of Josie Conte, Karen Montanaro, Bruce Tracy, Art Moves Dance Project, the Ballroom, the Festival Dancers and Naya’s Trance from 3 to 5 p.m. Admission is free.
