PITTSFIELD – Rhonda L. Newton, 45, died Monday, July 5, at her home in Pittsfield.

She was born Jan. 12, 1959, in Portland, the daughter of Carlton and Beverly (Norton) Newton. She graduated from M.C.I. in 1977, and K.V.T.I. in 1982.

She worked for Employment Specialists of Maine, Inc. of Augusta. She enjoyed camping and reading, especially Stephen King. She was a great collector of many things.

Survivors include her mother, Beverly Newton of Pittsfield; and her brother, Randall Newton of Fairfield.

She was predeceased by her father; her maternal grandparents, Calvin and Marjorie Norton; and paternal grandparents, Wilbur and Ellen Newton.
