At one point, Michael Moore’s “Fahrenheit 9/11,” Rep. Porter Gross claims to have a toll-free number when, in fact, he does not. At another point, Moore mentions that only one member of Congress has a child in the military but neglects to mention who, out of 435 representatives and 100 senators, this member is.
Sen. Snowe, to her credit, does have an 800 number and her efficient staff quickly came up with the name of the congressperson: Sen. Tim Johnson of South Dakota.
My thanks to filmmaker Michael Moore, Republican Olympia Snowe and Democrat Tim Johnson.
