PARIS – On the Green on historic Paris Hill, a Classic Car Exhibit, featuring the extensive private collection of Robert Bahre, will again be offered to the public Saturday, for the 26th annual Founders’ Day Celebration, to benefit Hamlin Memorial Library and Museum.

The 60-vehicle collection features Packards, Duesenbergs, Stutz Bearcats, a Tucker, Thomas Flyer, vintage race cars and others.

The festivities, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., also include How-Lin Farms’ horse and wagon tour of the village; a visit with Hannibal Hamlin; a tour of the old jail, which is now a museum, and the Hamlin Memorial Library; antiques and collectibles; related historic displays; food; music and a craft fair.

Cost to view the cars also includes the opportunity to see a antique doll and toy collection: $8 for adults, $2 age 12 and under.

More information may be obtained by calling 207-743-2980. Proceeds benefit the library and museum.

The event will be held rain or shine.
