I would like to address the letters that have recently tried to trash my views on liberals, the war in Iraq and President Bush.

First, terrorists attacked our country long before we ever went to Iraq. The USS Cole bombing, the bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993 and the total destruction of the two towers on Sept. 11. They have attacked embassies around the world, kidnapped and tortured Americans, and killed Israeli citizens on a daily basis.

Second, where was the liberal outrage when Clinton ordered the bombing in Serbia? Many civilians died in that war. Clinton was right to get rid of another power-hungry tyrant who was torturing and killing his own people.

Third, terrorism was alive and well long before President Bush and Congress decided to force out Saddam and free the Iraqi people from the brutality of that regime.

Fourth, it is my feeling that most liberals would cheer if America failed in Iraq and that liberals blame every evil in the world on America. I also believe that liberals hate the flag, God and Republicans. America lost the war in Vietnam because of their antiwar marches, speeches and their disrespect of our country during that time.

The terrorists hate us because of who we are, not because of anything we have done. The terrorists are the only ones to gain from the liberals bashing Bush and our country during this election year.
