AUBURN – Bernadette P. Heathco, 84, a resident of 300 Park Avenue, Auburn died Friday morning at her residence following a short illness.

She was born in Lewiston, Aug. 30, 1919, the daughter of Wilfred and Emma (Lavasseur) Perrier.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, and also a member of the Golden Age Club of Sacred Heart Church. She was also a member and past president of the Busy Bee Club of Poland. She enjoyed snowmobiling and camping, and she also enjoyed knitting, ceramics, crocheting and rug making. She also enjoyed reading and working in her garden. She especially enjoyed visiting with family.

Survivors include one son, Raymond Heathco and his wife, Lynn of Auburn; one daughter, Sylvia Filliettaz and her husband, Richard of Cape Neddick; one brother, Armand Perrier of Lewiston; eight grandchildren, Frederick, Thomas and Alexander Heathco, Patrick, Peter and Michael Filliettaz, Joseph and his wife, Tammy Heathco and Jessica Kuwata and her husband, Masahiro and four great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Carl who died in April of 2003; her daughter, Patricia who died June 23, 2004, and three brothers, Bertrand, Henry and Marcel Perrier.
