ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Margaret S. Campbell, 95, a former Lewiston resident died Saturday, July 17, at St. John’s Health Care Facility after a long illness.

She was born in Lewiston on Dec. 16, 1908, the daughter of George and Mary (Shea) Skillin. She was a graduate of Jordan High School. She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church. She resided in St. Augustine with her daughter, Mary for the past two-and-a-half years. Prior to moving to Florida, she lived at 10 Oak Park for 20 years.

Mrs. Campbell worked for many years at the former New England Telephone and Telegraph Co. as an operator. She enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends.

She is survived by one son, Richard and his wife, Cindy Campbell, of Gorham; two daughters, Joan and her husband, George Habal, of Orange Park, Fla., and Mary Campbell, of St. Augustine, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by three sons, John, Philip Jr. and Jerome.
