PARIS – The Board of Selectmen approved several appointments Monday, including another one-year appointment of Stephen McAllister as town manager.

Board members Bruce Hanson, Ray Glover, Gerald Kilgore and Barbara Payne approved the majority of the appointments. William Merrill was absent.

Other reappointments included Elizabeth Larson as town clerk, Lori McLaughlin as assistant town clerk and registrar, and Joan Bean as deputy clerk, registrar, deputy tax collector and E-911 coordinator.

Jack Higgins was appointed to a five-year term on the Board of Appeals.

Denise Landsperg, Sonny Norton and Trudy Hamilton were appointed to three-year terms on the Budget Committee.

Other committee appointments that were made included positions on the Paris Parks and Recreation Committee, the Norway-Paris Solid Waste board, the Paris Social Services Committee, and the Paris Comprehensive Plan Committee.

The board tabled the reappointment of Kevin McGillicuddy as assessor until an Aug. 9 meeting.
