AUBURN – The Auburn Parks and Recreation Department is planning assorted youth football programs this fall.

Included is Light Flag Football for those in Grades 1-2. Participants will learn the basics and play a six-game season on Saturdays starting in mid-September. Entry fee is $30 for residents and $50 for non-residents.

Registration begins today and ends on August 27.

Registrations are also being taken for the Auburn Recs 7th-8th-grade tackle team that competes in the Western Maine Football League; the Fifth-Sixth-Grade Tackle Program; and the Third-Fourth-Grade Flag League.

The APRD is also offering the 2004 Footbal Camp, August 9-12 at Chestnut Street Field.

Times for those in Grades 1-4 will be 5:30-6:30 p.m., and for those in Grades 5-8 from 6:45-7:45 p.m.
