OTISFIELD – Carla Tracey Clausen was the winner of the new bike donated by Dyer’s Camp and Cottage Service at the bike safety clinic presented by the Otisfield Fire Department Public Education Safety Team on July 10 at the Spurr’s Corner Fire Station.

Each participant received a bike helmet funded by the Kerry Grover Memorial Fund. Helmets were fitted with assistance from Erik Hermann of the Greater Portland Council of Governments.

Bikers rode their inspected bikes through five safety courses and received a “bicycle driver’s license” on completion. They were eligible for the drawing of the new bike.

Fire Chief Garry Dyer presented Clausen, granddaughter of Firefighter Bob and June Tracy, a certificate for the bike at the end of the clinic.
