LIVERMORE FALLS – The Planning Board will address Wayne Parker Jr.’s application for an adult bookstore at 54 Depot St. when it meets Wednesday at the town office.
The meeting is set for 6 p.m. but will open with an executive session for discussion of legal matters. Parker’s proposal will then be discussed.
Parker brought the site plan application to the board last month amid many concerns from planners and the public.
Board members thought the application might be covered by the town’s Special Amusement Ordinance, which is administered by the selectmen, so they tabled the application and referred it to the selectmen.
Selectmen approved a moratorium on accepting any new applications for adult-related businesses Tuesday and will present it to voters Aug. 16. If it is approved, the moratorium will be retroactive to Aug. 2, Chairman Ken Jacques said.
Selectmen returned Parker’s application to planners.
