MOSCOW, Vt. – The Rev. Joseph and Joan Murphy were honored June 20 for their 30 years of service at the Grace Bible Church of Moscow, Vt.

Murphy with his wife and three children moved from Warsaw, N.Y., to Moscow on June 24, 1974, to answer a call to the ministry.

At the Sunday church service their daughter, Rachel Seavers, presented them a gift of appreciation. Many friends and family members came from afar to honor their faithfulness and dedication.

Murphy is a Lewiston High School graduate with the class of 1952.
