Post-season playoffs in the L-A Men’s Softball League and the Lewiston Rec Men’s Softball League are set to start tonight.

All are best-of-three series.

The Auburn Division of the L-A League has 2 games slated at Pettengill Park. E.S.M. (1) will take on Crystal Spring (4) at 6:00, followed at 7:30 by Fast Breaks (2) and Subsiderz (3).

Lewiston also has 2 games scheduled at the Randall Road complex at 6:00. Poland Spring (4), a team that won Saturday’s consolation tournament, will take on Legends (1) at Randall-1, and Ducharme Masonry (2) will meet Gipper’s (3) at Randall-3.

In the Lewiston Rec Men’s League, Brunswick Steel (4) will take on Fast Breaks (5) at Randall-2 at 6:00. The winner of that series will enter the league semifinals that begin on August 16. The other 3 teams are Roopers (1), Mockler Construction/Friends (2) and Landry & Sons (3).

Game 2 of Auburn’s opening series will be waged Thursday night. The other series will resume Wednesday night.
