FRYEBURG – The Fryeburg Fish and Game Association Inc. announces that it will sponsor a bowhunter safety course for area bowhunters on Sundays, Aug. 15 and 22.
In order to meet the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife required minimum of 10 hours of instruction, it is necessary for students desiring certification to attend both sessions.
Registration will begin at 7:45 a.m. Aug. 15. Classes will begin at 8 and run to 4 p.m. On Aug. 22, classes will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. All classes will be held at the F.W. Shaw American Legion Hall, Bradley Street.
A light lunch will be served at noon by the association on the first Sunday. The course is free. However, since enrollment will be limited to 20, early registration is encouraged.
