AUGUSTA – The Maine Senate is scheduled to meet Aug. 25 to consider the following board nominations by Gov. John Baldacci.
For appointment to the newly formed Gambling Control Board:
• Peter W. Danton of Saco
• Jean M. Deighan of Bangor
• George McHale of Orrington
• W. Lawrence Hall of Dedham
• Michael T. Peters of Dixfield
For appointment to the Loring Development Authority:
• Patrick C. St. Peter of Limestone
• Mary E. Leblanc of Portland
Other nominations are: Jean Ginn Marvin of Cape Elizabeth, to the Commission on Governmental Ethics and Election Practices; John F. Conley of South Portland, to the Finance Authority of Maine; and Jefferson T. Ashby of Presque Isle, to the Baxter Compensation Authority.
Reappointments to be considered are: James J. Conlon of Brewer, to the Finance Authority of Maine; James W. Tracey of Farmingdale, to the State Harness Racing Commission; Clyde Walton of Fayette, to the Board of Pesticides Control; and Lee Humphreys of Warren, to the Board of Pesticides Control.
