LEWISTON – James J. Laliberty, 68, of Berlin, N.H., died Monday, Aug. 9.

Born in Berlin, N.H., on June 6, 1936, he was the son of Josephat and Margaret Laliberty. He was educated in Berlin schools.

On Sept. 8, 1995, he married Linda Robbins. He worked in area lumber yard mills. He was a loving, kind husband and father and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his wife of 10 years; stepson, Leo Gagnon, of Norway; stepdaughters, Delanie Passalaqua, of Turner and Laticha Vaughn, of Massachusetts; brothers, Andrew Laliberty, of Meredith, N.H., Edward Laliberty, of Tilton, N.H.; and a sister, Theresa Kane, of New Jersey.
