PHILLIPS – The second annual four-wheeler pull, held in conjunction with the Old Home Days celebration, will take place Sunday, Aug. 15, at North Franklin Park, behind the town garage and fire station. Registrations begin at 9 a.m. and the pull starts at 10:30 a.m.
There will be seven classes. Registration is $15, and there is a 100 percent payback from the pot, as well as trophies for each class.
Along with the pull, various concessions will be available all day, and several ATV dealers plan to be there to showcase their products.
The Narrow Gauge Riders, sponsors of the pull, will have an information tent at the event. The group will have applications available, and will be offering T-shirts for sale. The club will also have a 50/50 drawing again this year, with the grand-prize winner receiving 50 percent of the pot. This year, several prizes donated by area merchants have been added.
All proceeds from the event will go back into the trail systems in the area.
