LEWISTON – Dora B. Dube, 86, of Blake Street Towers in Lewiston, died at Central Maine Medical Center Saturday, Aug. 14, with her family at her bedside.

She was born in New Brunswick, Canada on June 24, 1918, the daughter of Philip J. and Bernice (Mcloud) Stewart.

Dora was educated locally, married Louis Nadeau Sr. and together started their family.

Dora was a stay at home mother and homemaker.

After the death of Louis Nadeau, she married Alphonse Dube who later passed away in September, 1986.

Mrs. Dube enjoyed going on scenic trips with her friends at Blake Street Towers, taking day trips to the ocean, working on crossword puzzles, and playing bingo. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Survivors include; six daughters, Beverly Brochu, and husband, Rene, of Jay, Nancy Smith, and husband, Brad, of Lisbon Falls, Betty Thompson, and husband, Thomas, of Ohio, Barbara Sidmon, and husband, David, Simone Vogel, and Pamela Easton, and husband, Charles, all of Erie, Penn.; a son, Louis Nadeau Jr., of Erie, Penn.; her sister, Sturcha Collins, of Massachussetts; her brother, Cyrus Stewart, and his wife, Lilian, of Skowhegan; 26 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; and four great-great- grandchildren.

Dora was predeceased by her son, Philip Nadeau; sisters, Hannah and Mary stewart; and brothers, Angus, George, and Nelson Stewart.
