FARMINGTON – Glenda Jean Webber of North Jay, passed away Saturday, Aug. 14, at Franklin Memorial Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer and diabetes.

She was born in Farmington on March 26, 1950, a daughter of Glendon C. and Shereen R. (Nile) Swett.

She attended Jay High School and received her CNA certification. She was a bartender at both the AMVETS and the Village Inn for many years. She enjoyed crafts, dancing, family gatherings, butterflies, her computer, and her many friends.

She married Jack M. Webber Sr. on Sept. 26, 1992.

She is survived by her loving husband of North Jay; a son, Shane Libby and his wife, Christine, of North Jay; her father, Glendon C. Swett, of Wilton; siblings, Scott Swett and wife, Celeste, of Mainland China,

Cathy Espeaignnette and husband, Bruce, of North Jay, Cheryl Osborne and husband, Frank, of Farmington, Jill Tibbetts and husband, Tony, of Chesterville, Tim Swett and wife, Darcy, of North Jay; stepchildren, Jeff Webber, of Norway, Jack “J.J.” Webber Jr., of Sumner, Ellen Webber, of Canton, Ryan Webber, of Canton; her mother-in-law, Louise Bovin and her husband, Frank, of South Paris; grandchildren, Brittney and Degan Libby; stepgrandchild, Mikayla Gerardin; her endeared foster sister, Beth Banuelous; her very special aunt, Irene Fletcher; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her mother, Shereen R. Swett.
