September 1986: Daniel Asselin, then 19, received his driver’s license.

April 20, 1987: Asselin charged with speeding.

April 27, 1987: Asselin charged under the .02 law for drinking while driving. Asselin’s license was suspended.

July 5, 1987: Asselin charged with driving with a suspended license.

Nov. 5, 1987: Asselin charged with speeding, driving with a suspended license and failure to appear in court on the earlier operating-after-suspension charge.

January 1988: Asselin charged with driving with a suspended license.

February 1990: Asselin charged twice with driving with a suspended license due to unpaid fines.

March 12, 1992: Asselin’s license revoked 27 days after it had been restored.

Feb. 18, 1995: Asselin charged with driving as a habitual offender and with a stolen license plate.

Dec. 19, 1995: Asselin charged with driving while intoxicated and failure to give police a correct name.
