LEWISTON – Colleen Theresa Vallerand, 45, of Lewiston, died unexpectedly Aug. 19, in Lewiston.
Born in Anniston, Ala., Aug. 17, 1959, beloved daughter of Charles L. and Lillian T. LaFontaine O’Brien, she attended Lewiston High School and CMTC.
She was employed for several years at Geiger Brothers and Bath Iron Works. She served in the U.S. Army Reserve Unit in Auburn. She enjoyed spending time with her children, family and friends.
Survivors include her two children, Rebekah Joyce and Benjamin John Vallerand, of Greene; her mother, Representative Lillian T. O’Brien, of Lewiston; three sisters, Kathleen Cirbus and her husband, Dr. James Cirbus, of Jamestown, N.Y., Maureen O’Brien and her husband, Brion Gallagher, of Auburn, and Patricia Mullen and her husband, Robert Mullen, of Winthrop; one brother, Lawrence O’Brien, of Portland; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father, Charles and a sister, Jaye O’ Brien.
