As we approach the election, we are inundated by the ongoing saga of John Kerry, the war hero. We won’t even get into the fact that his time in Vietnam was only four months, less than most of the people who were sent there. Kerry came home and then protested the war. An established man of valor with three purple hearts, yet not so fast. His first one was given for a wound that was self-inflicted, as he fired a grenade launcher into a rice storage and was hurt by the shrapnel from the explosion.

He voted for the war with Iraq, and also stated that Saddam Hussein needed to be ousted from power. That is, of course, until he is full steam into his race for the White House, and as his norm, the proverbial flip flop.

He criticized President Bush for waiting several minutes before reacting to the news that the United States was under terrorist attack. Let us consider the fact that Bush was in a classroom full of children, he remained composed, and Kerry’s response is after the fact, for he has no idea how he’d react in a situation such as that.

Kerry tends to state many things he’d do, with no explanation of how he intends to do any of it.

One last point, why is it that when conservatives point out error, they are labeled as mean-spirited, yet when liberals do the same, the media espouses them as insightful and bold?
