BRIDGTON – In response to requests from mothers-to-be for a condensed version of the eight-week childbirth class, Bridgton Hospital will offer an eight-hour, one-day Saturday session.

The class will be offered from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, and includes lunch. Course fee is $30 a person or $60 a couple, which is usually covered by insurance.

The class will focus on the process of labor, delivery, Caesarean birth, pain relief in labor and relaxation. The class will be taught by Judy Barlow, RN, certified childbirth educator.
