Kudos to Sun Journal photographer Russ Dillingham for is Aug. 19 photo in the City section of the two children and the wagonload of library books. With all of the negative news that we see and hear, such a positive scene offers hope. We’re glad that someone saw the significance of such a scene.

As a librarian, I (Maureen) also appreciate the sight of children reading. That sight is the Lewiston we should see. That sight is the future of Lewiston.
