LOCKE MILLS – The Greenwood Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1, at the historical building on Main Street for a short meeting followed by a program by John Davis on railroads in Japan. Everyone is welcome.

NORWAY – The Oxford Hills Area Association of Churches will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, at the Norway Universalist UU Church on Main Street. A community lunch will be served at noon.

All churches in the Oxford Hills area “which share the purposes of the association” are welcome to send “no more than one clergy and two delegates.” People can call President Marilyn Hammond at 743-2766.
