LEWISTON – Armand G. Lapointe, 82, of 932 College St., died Sunday, Aug. 29, at CMMC.

He was born in Auburn June 26, 1922, a son of the late George and Malvina Daniels Lapointe, he attended Edward Little High School.

Mr. Lapointe was a former member of Holy Cross Parish and served in the Maine Army National Guard. He was married to the former Bernadette Lepage who died in 1991.

He worked for over 30 years at Davis Cadillac and Lee Cadillac & Oldsmobile Dealership retiring in 1994. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Claire and Maurice Plourde, Diane and Richard Caron, all of Lewiston; his son and his wife, Fern and Louise Lapointe, of Auburn; his grandchildren and spouses, Laurie and Ray Ouellette, Debbie and Jim Jacques, Lisa and Mike Novicki, Jeff and Christine Plourde, Shannon Caron and Michael McGonagle, Danielle and Eldon Tapley, Ryan Caron and girlfriend, Nicci Albert, Michelle and Craig Hill, and Nicole Lapointe; his great-grandchildren, Taryn, Spencer, Jack, Allie, Amanda, Owen and soon to be, Rylan Caron; a sister, Florence Proctor of Auburn; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Fern and Cal and Harry and Lorette Lapointe; his friend, Rita Lapointe.

He was predeceased by a sister, Lucille Lapointe
