RUMFORD – June Dragoon, one of Western Maine’s best known artists, will have her work featured at the Pennacook Art Center from Sept. 3 to Sept. 27. On Friday, Sept. 3, there will be a reception for the artist from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. The public is welcome to attend. The Pennacook Art Center is located at 82 Congress St., in the heart of Rumford’s historic Shopper’s Island business district. The gallery is open Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. All artwork in the gallery is for sale, and includes the work of more than 30 artists, with a new theme exhibit every month.
