MIDWAY, Tenn. – Gerry (G.G.) Grenier, 52, of the Midway community, passed away Sunday, Aug. 29, after an extended courageous battle with cancer.
He was born Nov. 12, 1951, the son of the late Leo and Noella Grenier of Lewiston. He was a self-taught drummer, having played music all over the U.S. and Canada for 38 years.
He attended Berkeley School of Music in California. He was a devoted hunter and fisherman. He loved the outdoors. He was also a devoted husband, brother, uncle and friend.
He is survived by his wife, best friend, and partner, Debra; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Rich and Kitty Grenier, of Mims, Fla., and Roger and Karen Grenier, of Rutledge, Tenn.; and special nieces, nephews, cousins and lots of friends.
