What’s the big fuss about John Kerry’s Vietnam record that took place 35 years ago?

As far as I’m concerned, even if he had gone there for just a day, it’s still more than our present leader has done, because all he did was hide behind his father’s coattails and also hide somewhere.

His father defended him during the convention, about how bad the media and Democrats are criticizing him. Poor boy. As far as I’m concerned, they’ll never do enough to him to suit me. After the way the Republican cronies at the time treated President Clinton the last seven years of his presidency and even to this day.

President Bush brags about his big tax cuts, but I haven’t met anyone yet that received that big $300 check.

The recession didn’t start until the March after Clinton left office despite what the Republicans say. They’ve had four years to fix it, and we are now even more in debt.

He’s such a good leader, and they call themselves conservatives.

What has Bush done for us in four years? If he’s elected again, people who voted for him can say mea culpa when they start losing their Social Security and Medicare.

Republicans don’t want to govern; they want to rule the world because we don’t have dictators in this country. It’s a good thing there’s a war plus Sept. 11 because that’s all we hear in their speeches.
