NORWAY – The Western Maine Art Group is offering the following workshops instructed by artists:

• A bookmaking workshop with artist Sara Shepley from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, at Matolcsy Art Center, 480 Main St. for $75. The fee includes all materials.

• A fall flower arranging workshop with Michael Desplaines of Copperline Ranch will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 18, at the center. A $35 fee includes materials and students are asked to bring a container or vase.

• The Cool Days, Hot Nights art show, featuring Gil Whitman with 15 other Maine artists, including Duncan Slade, will be held through September from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and noon to 4 p.m Sunday, at the Matolcsy Art Center, 480 Main St.
