BRUNSWICK – A Second Friday Art Walk, the monthly galleries’ open house, will happen from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, in downtown Brunswick.

David Wall of The Apple Cart Press in Fort Andross will open his studio, where the public can see the art of digital and classical letterpress printing.

The Window Tree Gallery and Framing, 44 Maine St., will have its opening for works by Bonnie Alpander. Nearby, at Bayview Gallery, also on Maine Street, there will be an opening reception for “Stefan Pastuhov: A Maine for All Seasons.” Pastuhov is a devoted outdoor sportsman and a plein-air artist whose paintings capture the landscape he loves. He was recently commissioned to paint the cover for L.L. Bean’s fall catalog.

At Spindleworks, 9 Lincoln St., the Whatnot Gallery will present “Off Senter,” new ceramic works from the Spindleworks clay studio. Gallery Framing on Pleasant Street will feature the exhibit “Delighting My Eye: Colored Pencil Drawings by Cindy Barnes.” Eleven Pleasant Street, Center for the Arts will have a special selection of works at Georgetown Pottery and Huston and Co. Furniture.

Park Row Interiors is showing landscape paintings by Bjiorn Runquist. Across the river in Topsham, Maine Fiberarts at 13 Main St. will present “Quilts by Elizabeth Busch,” a new exhibit.

Provisions near the corner of Maine and Pleasant streets is also open during the Art Walks, adding free wine tastings to go with the art. The Brunswick Area Arts and Cultural Alliance, provides support for the Art Walk. The final Art Walk of 2004 will be in November.
