DAMARISCOTTA – Diane Sharon Banks Sturtevant of Jefferson, died Sept. 7, in Damariscotta.

Born in Lewiston, Oct. 17, 1942, a daughter of the late Frederick Harold and Norma Ursula (Tweedie) Banks, she graduated from Edward Little High School.

She faced life’s adventures with humor, kindness and an enlightened heart and mind.

She is survived by her son, Andrew Sturtevant, of Saco; and two brothers, Carroll Banks, of Temple and Thomas Banks, of Virginia Beach, Va. She will be dearly missed by her partner of many years, Charles W. Morris.
