WENHAM, Mass. – Junior Ashley Denyse scored the only goal of the game and freshman goalie Kendra Davis had one save to lead the Gordon College Fighting Scots to a 1-0 victory over the University of Southern Maine Huskies in a non-conference game Thursday afternoon

The win was the third straight for the Fighting Scots who remain undefeated at 3-0. The Huskies lost their third straight to fall to 0-3.

Denyse chipped in a short shot from in close after taking a pass from junior Brittany Nanni at the 12:52 mark of first half.

That would be the only goal of the game for the Scots despite an 18-3 advantage in shots. The goal was the second of the season for Denyse.
