GREENE – Announcement is made of the engagement of Jennifer Murphy and Peter Ward, both residents of Nashua, N.H.

Mr. Ward is the son of Philip and Cheryl Ward of Greene. He is a 2000 graduate of Plymouth State University with a bachelor’s degree and a 2004 graduate of Southern New Hampshire University with a master’s degree.

Miss Murphy is the daughter of Edward and Deborah Murphy of Connecticut. She is a 2002 graduate of Plymouth State.

They met while attending college. Their wedding will be held in New Hampshire on Oct. 16.
