NORWAY – Nancy B. Farrar, 68, of South Paris, fromerly of Norway, died Saturday at Stephens Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family.
She was born in South Paris, Sept. 1, 1936, the daughter of George P. and Gladys Hatch Boyce, Sr.
She attended Paris schools and had worked in Norway shoe shops. She worked 18 years at Glading-Paris Co. in South Paris.
Nancy enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, knitting, hummingbirds and was a Red Sox fan. On February 22, 1952 she married Roger E. Farrar, Sr., who died December 2, 1991.
Survivors include her seven children, Diana Baker, and her husband, Dale, of Oxford, Roger, Jr., and his wife, Lois, of Durham, Deborah Rice and her companion, James Newcomb, of South Paris, Ricky and his companion, Dawn Chamberlain, of Citrus Springs, Fla., Donna Farrar and her companion, Scott Dailey, of South Paris, Rusty and his wife, Tina, of Norway, and Darcy Malloy, and her husband Michael, of Oxford; one brother, David Boyce and his wife, Virginia, of Norway; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Joan Wilson and Katherine Johnson; and five brothers, Keith, George, Jr., Bruce, Richard and Jerrius Boyce.
