NORWAY – The Norway Historical Society has been active this summer. Monthly meetings have featured speakers, and all programs are videotaped for future use as well as for the local access television system.

The house has also been open three mornings a week instead of only one. However, after Sunday, Sept. 19, open hours will revert to Saturday mornings only and by appointment.

Longer open hours would require additional knowledgeable help, which would be appreciated.

Programs have been planned through November, after which the group will adjourn until April. The April meeting will include nomination of officers and trustees for the coming year.

The society is looking for items to be donated to the society. Items from the Oxford County Fair, such as old programs, would be appreciated. Anyone who has articles to donate can call Charles at 743-2128.
