George W. Bush has reached a milestone in his descent into infamy. One thousand. That’s the number of our brave soldiers who have been killed because of Bush’s needless invasion of Iraq. Thousands more have been wounded or disabled. Thousands of Iraqis have also been killed or maimed.

The Bible says “By their fruits ye shall know them.” Bush’s fruits are death and destruction on a massive scale. He says he will stay the course, which means he will make a bad situation even worse. There is more killing and chaos in Iraq now than when Saddam Hussein was in power.

We are losing the war on terrorism. There are more terrorists today than ever before, thanks to Bush’s blunders.

I believe the safety and security of our country should not be entrusted to draft dodgers like Bush and Vice President Cheney, who have no combat experience.

John Kerry has the knowledge and ability to lead and defend the United States of America. It’s past time for the Bush regime to go.
